I have opened this topic to inform everyone that with last upgrade jrt isn't working well, it says something about the impossibility to delete debugchannel registry ( i've noted don't switch itself to system)
The bad news is that after that dss don't continues its work
Someone of you had this issue or have a solution to make dss working?

Update: during this week Thisisu had upgraded more times his software (JRT) and with the last version we don't have the same problem i had noted in the other post, now the situation involve both d7II and dsupportsuite.
Now d7II and dsupportsuite are killed by jrt!
I've spent many of my time to find a solution because i use frequently jrt, both in d7II and in dsupportsuite and finally i found that jrt use a whitelist for the processes to kill

Best solution will be to contact Thisisu and tell him to insert d7II and dsupportsuite in the whitelist (i think Nick or other members of the staff can do this if they have the contact of the author of jrt)

My solution: i've created a new app that everytime download from my server the file wl_processes.cfg (edited with d7II and dsupportsuite in it), i've edited jrt_auto.cmd to copy the file in %temp%/jrt and then all works fine.

If someone of you have a best solution and want to share i'll be happy to read :)

Could you please be a bit more specific as how you do this since I have just noticed the same thing?

Thanks in advance.

Well, i've done a more efficient thing to make jrt working well.
- Download a copy of jrt and extract it. In the folder jrt you'll find a file "wl_processes.cfg".
- Edit this file adding d7II and dSupportSuite.
- Save the file and upload it in your ftp server
-Edit the file JRT_Auto.cmd
Code: Select all
@echo off&pushd "%~dp0"
cd "..\..\3rd Party Tools"
start /wait JRT.exe -y -nr
pushd %temp%\JRT
"%temp%\jrt\WGET.DAT" -q "http://w*w.yourftplink/wl_processes.cfg" -O wl_processes.cfg <--wget isn't present in windows so we could use the one in the folder jrt
if not exist "get.bat" goto :eof
find /v /i "pause" get.bat>tmp.bat
find /v /i "notepad" tmp.bat>get.bat
start /wait get.bat

That's all. With this little string now jrt don't close dsupportsuite and the same solution is good also for d7II (we have to edit JRT_Auto.cmd also for d7II)

Thank you very much!

Still the best thing would be to have JRT whitelist dSS and d7II. If Nick manages to do that, it would be nice to let us know.

Thanks again synapse!

Hey I'm also having this issue. How do you go about adding d7ii to the whitelist? It does not let you edit any files within an SFX. Did you have to extract it, edit it, and remake the sfx file in order to add those lines? And then I am assuming you zipped that and the JRT_Auto.cmd together and put it on your ftp? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
